  1. Ah damn that sucks. Do you know anywhere there’d be an updated list of species available in aus?
  2. Is this forum still active? Really looking to concentrate all aussie fish keepers on one platform and wondering if this one still gets any use? As far as i know this seems like it used to be the way to connect with rare cichlid keepers.
  3. As somebody newish in the hobby i still see some good stuff. Sadly i think the importance of pure lines has been forgotten. After talking to somebody at Mad Aquariums, they take an awful amount of care in finding pure lines. Allfish2u has a great collection too, although i’m sour his “pure” hartwegi are nowhere near, and honestly refuse to buy any of his other pure viejas.
  4. Ebjd has now been confirmed to be a singular gene, although i have seen that they were first raised with cubans. Just because it’s a gene doenst count out the fact that they look cuban. We’ve also got: - red texas - jaghorn - marble fene (probably a cross) - honourable mention is my fenestratus x texas (that’s the pic)
  5. Krobia itanyi might still be here. I’ve known both Aquotix in Perth and Smiths in QLD to get “Krobia sp. Oyapok”, which i figured to be itanyi. That was probably 16 months ago in perth and 12 in qld. One to note; Smiths has A. Lyonsi listed as previously being sold there.
