Rolla Posted December 8, 2003 Share Posted December 8, 2003 Hi guys,I had some spare plant fertaliser left over from my last tank, it was Called "Plant Gro" by Hagen.I used it in my Malawi tank till i ran out and i was considering getting some more. is it worth while or just wasting money?I know the plants are in tuogh conditions but id like them to look as best they can. i just thought id see if it was worthwhile using the fertaliser before i go and buy it...BTW, Plants are1 Anubias barteri1 anubias gigantea or afzelli not quite sure Im aso looking to ad a coupole of bunches of java fern and Normal Val soon Cheers Dave Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Geoffagus Posted December 9, 2003 Share Posted December 9, 2003 I use plant food in most of my planted tanks and have found that plants that are attatched to wood require plant food more than the ones that have their roots burried as these ones have more access to nutriants in the gravel.
