New Bristlenose

Hi Noyd,

This is normal behaviour for bristlenose, they can spend long periods just hanging on the glass but usually they prefer a less exposed position to rest. Is there any sheltered areas in the tank? He will probably seek these out once he becomes accustomed to his new home. :(

It might have been 4", it was for $20, either this shop doesn't know how much they go for, or, me or you are wrong, heh.

I never said it was male, I did not know what it was, and yeah I swapped it for two Clown Loaches.

I'm in the process of cycling a new bigger tank, I will definatly get atleast 2 BN's, they are fantastic, it just freaked me out when I had the big one, I thought it did not like the water conditions etc, so I took it back quickly before any chance of it dieing (smart or bad move?), I did not do my homework on them as I am even new to Cichlids, I seen them at the shop and thought wow, cool... I'll give one ago and picked the biggest one there is (typical), hehe.

Cheers
