PHL
Some of my cardinal tetras have what looks like bloody pin-pricks on their body; under magnification, I can't detect any parasites hanging off them. Looks a bit like small blood blisters (under 0.5mm in size) or wounds. Anyone have any ideas what it might be? I did have an argulus infection several weeks ago, but that affected the Rummynoses. PHL
I don't think it's hole in the head, as the nutrients and nutrition has been good, and yes, the water has been slightly salted. I've now put it down to a sudden change in tap water chemistry, and in trying to correct things and doing more water changes, I made things worse. Might have also OD on Prime. Ended up losing 4 (out of 5) SAEs, 1 (out of 5) Clown loach, 5 (out of 6) large Congo tetras, 13 (out of 18) Cardinal tetras and 7 (out of 12) Rummynose tetras. Fortunately the two Peppermint BNs are fine, and the Ottos were also fine. As things have been stable for a few weeks now, I'm slowly restocking.
