Barca888
Ive been keeping a group of 6 of these guys (3m + 3f) in a 140l tropical tank. Around a month ago i found one of the males on my cover glass. There was the odd flashing here and there but nothing which would drive a fish out of the tank. Recently i noticed one of the males breathing heavily and then noticed the rampant behaviour of the other male. I am no stranger to aggression as my african tank is full of it but this is almost and is sometimes worse. It isnt flashing anymore it's just attack the body and chase the fish around for a while. He even does this to a few of the females too. Is this normal behaviour?
Citypainter
Its common to get a rogue in any breed. I would say that it is his intention to breed. Blue eyes actually breed successfully at a very small size. You could always put him in you african tank if your worried. Just gradualy introduce him into the alkaline water by floating him for a couple of days.
