fishly
I am thinking to use beach sand as the substrate. But I need a way to buffer the water. I have some crushed marble and some shell grid (got from Anita). So, I am thinking to put lots of them in my canister and my sump. But I can't decide which one should I go? What do you think and if you can give some reasons would be great. Regards, Tony
YeW
Shell grit, crushed marble & crushed coral will give you virtually identical results. All are good. I'd just pick the cheapest. Crushed coral and it's unauthorised collection bothers me so I generally chose the other two. HTH -
