Hi rolleyes.gif

Well hoges if you live up in the Northern Territory you would not need a licence for these little critters as they are everywhere they live up there on the walls and the ceilings. I remember when we lived there we had not been living there long and we noticed these geckos we turned on our lounge room fan only to hear a tonk and a spat not realising what was going on we got up to find a gecko was on our fan when we turned it on it had a great ride of its life and flew across the room at a great rate of knots it looked so funny from our point of view, but i dont think that gecko was going to live on our fan again. The kids catch them up there as there is so many of them.

My 2 cents worth.

Hi Hoges -

The information on herp licenses is available from www.npws.nsw.gov.au

Hi Misty -

Unfortunately the majority of geckoes that inhabit homes (at least in QLD) are an introduced species from Asia.

Cheers -
