Ant Posted December 2, 2003 Share Posted December 2, 2003 I've noticed that juvy e-blues colourup very fast when put in a tank on their own (with a few females of course). If i did this and let the male colour up (he is already half coloured up) would he lose his colour again if i put him back in the larger tank? or is is just a case of experimenting and seing for myself?Anthony Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Ben Posted December 2, 2003 Share Posted December 2, 2003 You will find it is a dominance thing more than anything else. If they are the biggest thing in the tank then they will show colour much earlier than if they were sharing the tank with anything that is going to dominate them.So if you were to put him back into a larger tank with a fish that will be more dominate then yes he will loose his colour.
