Bradc
I know they're not the best photos but the female fuelleborni just at the base of its tale has a raised red lump on it. Im wondering what it might be? Is it bacterial or some form of parasite under the skin? Fish is eating perfectly fine swimming fine. Water parameters are showing ph 8.2 ammonia 0ppm nitrites 0ppm and nitrates 10ppm Done a rather large water change today as i had to move the tank across the room and need weight out of it. Probably something i should know about but ive never had anything like this happen since keeping fish.
Ageofaquariums
Looks like a slightly infected injury. My standard treatment is some salt and melafix. It will likely heal itself, but I find the salt and melafix combo speeds it all along nicely.
Bradc
Yeah sweet i rearranged the rocks and made some tighter clusterof rocks for some smaller of the fish and my calvus that are in there and she was hanging around them might have caught her tail. When i added water i doubled my tanks salt. Ill buy some melafix tomorrow and ose the whole tank shouldnt be an issue im guessing
