Cichlid Pete
Hi Guys,I was thinking about making a stainless steel frame to mount my air stones and tubing to. Do you think adding stainless steel will have any negative affects to fish or water?ThanksPeter
Buccal
Nope, there are plenty of stainless steal products made specifically for aquariums.Like components of certain pumps, strainers and so on.316 stainless steel and upwards would be safest. But 308 or even 306 is suitable in freshwater.Anything over 308 is considered marine grade.
