Gobble
Hi allJust putting this out there for anyone that has seen Neolamprologus Tretocephalus spawning behavior. Is this typical behavior of a pair? Thanks
Ged
Gobbie it looks fairly typical spawning behaviour for this species. The female will spend more and more time in the cave with the male standing guard once they have spawned. You will need to be aware that they will not tolerate other fish coming near the cave and will be aggressive.
Gobble
Well they finally spawned !! Happy DaysThe day after they were free swimming the Neolamprologus Caudopunctatus decided to lay eggs in the barnacle cluster directly behind the Trets cave Trets are protecting the fry well, have about 30 fry in a fry saver now and there are still approx 40-50 with the parents. The pair will be moving out of the community tank as soon as their new home is cycled
