666
Hi, I am setting up a new tank and went to the local pet shop and Bunnings for some styrofoam sheets and come home empty handed. Is it hard to get?

Ged
I thought there is a Clarks Rubber in Port Macquarie. It is still 1 1/2 hours away but it may be a closer option. Ged
pat williamson
I find the issue with clark rubber is firstly the pieces are 600mm , therefore not quite wide enough for a 2ft base tank. Secondly they are cheaper than aquariums but still expensive considering people pay money to get rid of the stuff. Try a local place that sells fridges and other white goods
666
We live 40 minutes south of Forster and with current roadworks you need a cut lunch. I would pay a higher price if the local aquarium stocked it, it would save heaps in fuel.
southcoastbrad
Decorative concrete supply stores, the ones that sell all the extras for concreting usually have a good supply of all different sizes of Styrofoam and usually at a good price too
