CichlidChick77
Hi all,I just noticed that my Mpanga spat her fry. This is my first batch of fry so am a little unsure of the process. It has only been 9 days since I first noticed she was holding. The fry still have the little sack thing attached (very technical, I know ) and are about 3-4mm long.I have the mother and fry in their own tank. Do I need to do anything? I read that while the yolk thing is still attached I don't need to feed them. Is that correct?Any info and/or advice will be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance,CC :D
Ged
I suggest that you remove the female or place the fry in a fry saver if you want the female to have a bit of a break before she goes back into the main tank. I usually have bare bottom tanks for my fry and use a pepper grinder to grind up pellets.
