YAL05T
Looks a bit like synodontis ocellifer, but I am far from a syno expert. How big is it, just does not seem as spotty/blotchy as my old cuckoos.
bakes
It's 15-17cm, I have 4 cuckoos already and like you said not as spotty, the same shape though. He's still cool to have in the display tank, next time will probably get a photo sent first though before I go driving! YAL05T
How far away did you have to travel to collect? Nice looking fish regardless. Just check it's environmental requirements match up with your tank parameters.

YAL05T
I did think that the Syno O's has spots on the tail and dorsal, that's why I was a little unsure.
