skiddish fronts

frontoes

Hey peepz,

Something strange occurred to me and I cant figure it out why it has happen.

On my 4ft tank I have 6 15cm fronts with 3 holey texas rocks, I decided to add one extra texas holey to aquascape my tank which looks good now but my fronts are all the sudden very skiddish, they dart across the tanks everytime I walk pass them which never happened and when it comes to feeding time they all hide everything I lift the tank lid.

I've tested the water and ammonia, nitrates, nitrites and ph all seems fine.....

I thought that african cichlids prefer rocky environments? Or is it that frontosa actually prefer less rocky environments as they are large fish for them to swim around...?

Any comments will be appreciated...

Cheers

The extra piece has been on my tank at the moment for 2 weeks now.

I've reshuffled the rocks around before without having the fish in the tank and when putting the fish back into the tank thats when i've noticed that they were really skiddish...
