Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone out there could suggest some lighting for me for a 4x2x2 tropheous tank? I have heard bright white lights are the best, Is this correct?

I was hunting around ebay and found this....

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/HIGH-POWERED-12V-LED-LIGHTING-SYSTEM-FOR-MARINE-FRESH-WATER-AQUARIUMS-/200906787614?

Any suggestions and help is much appreciated!

Thanks Guys

Regards

Chris

I was looking at these lights also.

I think I will need 4 of them, sent the seller a message to see it I need 4 transformers or if 1 will run all 4 lights.

I must say they look ok

You should try and track down the LED strip lighting, I use it on my 6x2x2.

I have 4 lots of 6ft strips that I stuck to a piece of ply, you can get dimmers attached also.. they work well.

Hi James,

any photos of how you set up the lighting array. I have tried in my fish room but not had much success thus far.

Theres a seller on ebay (local hobyist) that sells quality led lights.(pm me for his id)

They Come in custom sizes aswell.

On my display i run one acintic blue (with dimmer) and 10,000k white.

The blue rear light gives a tank the look of depth.

I also use his 10,000k leds on my rack system. Quality(not cheap crap) leds mounted in a aluminium channel which works as a heat sink.also has clear cover.good value for mobey
