My rack tanks finally running

After several leaks in the sump I have finally got my system up and running. I'm running a lugana max flo 7600Lph ( thanks to age of aquariums ), and a jäger 300W heater. A big thanks to members for advice on plumbing. I have purchased enough foam to insulate tanks fully in winter. ( Got the foam cheap from Trevor @ polyfoam moorebank. $75 for all the foam about 55 pieces ) now the waiting game to get the tanks cycled and ready for fish.

Yeh lee I was stoked at the finished product. Nearly had a dummy spit last night as my brother in law poured some water at the base of the sump and I thought I had a another leak. The turd had me going for about an hour !!! Payback will be sweet!!!

As for what fish I I got some nice electric blue females from a nice bloke at mt Annan ( ha ha ) so they will go in one tank. But I think I will run with some nice peacocks to start with.

Great setup.

I am impressed the planning that has gone into this setup. I particularly like the back end of the system. The room that you have allowed to access the plumbing is genius. I regretted no have the racks far enough of the wall to do the same and then having hassles when I wanted to change some piping.

Thanks Ged. I did think about pushing it back against the wall but it is 900 deep so too far to lean over to adjust the flow to the fry tanks and access if there was ever a leak. Very happy with the system now it's finally running.
