Vukie
Hi,My biggest cichlid is losing some scales, ive never seen this before in my other fish and though it was a bit weird. he does get pushed around a bit by the others but has no visible bite marks on his fins or body, also where the scales fall off the colour underneath is much brighter, but the next day the colour has gone away, have the scales grown back?Just wanted to know if this is normal as i have never seen my smaller cichlids do this. Ben
I have a male acei who is missing a few scales because the females keep picking at him when they want to breed.I gave the girls a second male and they leave the other male alone now that they have a more active boy to play with. Donbennie
i have a 18+cm kadango who keeps getting spooked and goes insane, he bumps into heaters and two ends of the tank, he has lost a few scales by doing this, nothing too serious, they grew back the next day,
