Kerrin Posted December 31, 2012 Share Posted December 31, 2012 Hey all, I'll get in quick with a happy new year to everyone, and then down to businessWe have just returned home after 5 days away (don't worry I had someone house & fish sitting) and when I checked the tanks today I got a nice surprise!Not only have the similis had another round of fry ( must be about 20-30 of varying sizes in total now) but 1 of the female utinta is holding. It is the smallest of the females so I'm a little concerned abouthow she will go but I am once again pretty stoked. Things couldn't be going better at this stage in the tank (touch wood) with everything able to spawn now having done so, I feel like a proud dad!Is there anything I need to know if and when she spits?
