300 litre malawi tank

Hello, i just recently got a 300ltr 4ft tank and im going to make it a malawi display tank. I was just wondering how many fish would be suitable for this size tank?

Congrats. That's a good size to start. To answer your question, I will look into:

- what type of malawi (mbuna or haps) & their potential size

- filtration system

- feeding & water change regime

- how much decor you will put, they displace water n provide territory markings

Thanks, so far i've got 1 Labidochromis Electric Yellow, 1 red rubin peacock, 1 Alunocarra Firefish, 1 peacock (unsure breed) and 1 Labidochromis Hongi which are going in a smaller 100ltr tank until i cycle my 300ltr.

I have a power head filter with sponge which i think displaces 1500ltrs n hour and another power head filter with a sponge that displaces 1630ltrs n hour.
