moez
Hey guysI bought about 6 common bristlenose and a albino bristlenose earlier today in the morning.Measuring up to 3 to 4 cm. but the guy I bought them off game me about 5 extra red shrimp with them measuring 1 cm.So I Was just wondering of they will kill them because they seem to sit on their backs of the bristlenose. And if they grow up will they harm my cichlids if I put them with them.Thx moez. frankenstrat
Won't do any harm, your cichlids will eat them in a hurry, isolate them if you can, they breed easily and are good food for your fish, if they are all red you may only have males though, females are translucent and not really red at all

fishmosy
Assuming you have cherry red shrimp, the females are red, the males clear.

fishmosy
frankenstrat: you can get other cheap red shrimp ( eg some of the native shrimp, including glass shrimp) and most of the shrimp guys i know wouldn't hestitate to give away some of their CRS, they aren't that expensive anymore, particularly the low grades. moez: Good luck with your shrimp mate, they are fascinating and well worth keeping in their own right.
