Harcness Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Hi Guys,I have recently picked up 3 small internal filters to run in 3 x 2 foot tanks.Can anyone tell me if it is advisable/recommended to run these filters for a while in my 4ft'er to generate the required bacterial growth and assist with tank cycling?If so, how long is long enough to 'run them in' ?Also, Is the water from water changes in my 4ft'er okay to use in the 2ft'ers (from mid tank) ?Any help appreciated.Thanks.
