tangka
hey guyscame home last night to find my pump not pumping and making a humming noise.decided to open it up this morning, took out the 4 screws and took off the impeller cover. the impeller looked fine, nothing broken off or discoloured.now I dont know what else i can take off or check to see what might be the problem. Im now left with the body of the pump and there is a smooth flat rubber part where the shaft of the impeller goes into. can this be taken off? underneath this is a oring. are there more screws somewhere to take off or do i pull of this part to dig further?what to pull off as much as i can to clean up and see what might have gone wrong.if anyone knows what to look for please let me know.thanksDan
Ged
Here is a link to the manual if you don't have a copy. http://www.aquapetbargain.com/manual/max_flow.pdfIf it is the motor then you may have problems as it has no serviceable parts. tangka
Thanks GED Is the shaft and impeller supposed to be one piece? The Impeller and abit of the shaft have separated from the main assembly.Looks like I'll need to order a shaft assembly.
