Hi

My brine shrimp eggs just finished been using www.artemia-international.com blue container from that brand was very happy.

I see there is one on age of aquarium but never used the brand (any feedback will be great)

My question is what brand do you use and what do you suggest

looking to get a 400g+

this is just off the topic..my brineshrimp always end up at the top of the hatchery not and the bottom like i see on all the youtube clips and so on..

Thanks in advance

and if you know of any cheap sites will be great :)

hi

its not a problem it works well

just weird i think its because in the garage i have only 1 light on the celling and thats why they get attracted to the top.

It is a DIY 1.25lt bottle with air line going in the bottom(cap)

cheers

still need advise on brine shrimp egg brands :)

I've been using these lately: http://www.primo.net.au/?page=detail&id=103&ref=catlist&refid=1

Haven't been able to work out an effective way to utilize the magnetic cyst separation but I've never ever had better hatch rates.

Hatching is in one of these: http://www.jehmco.com/BSHL3BW_10045a-500p.jpg

hi

and thanks

do you buy them online ? from that link you sent

and do i need to do all this

SEP-Art Technology - new generation of Artemia Cysts for complete separation and harvest of highly vital naups without decapsulation. Requires use of the SEP-Art Separator tube with strong magnets which attract the iron coated shells leaving pure clean naups after harvest. 280,000 naups/gram cysts.

or will work like normal :)

cheers

Hi Litho

I use the same DIY system , you have see it at my place , for the past year i have being using the Ocean Nutrition brand from Age of Aquariums seems to work very well 100% rate when im ready to get them out i put the bottle next to one of my lights and i leave it for about 10 minutes they all go to the bottom , i think your light position is the problem .

Cheers

Yes I buy them online from primo (the website link)

yes they work just as well without the fancy magneric separation stuff.

I've experimented a bit with some magnets but unless you're working

with commercial quantities I don't think it's neccessar
