I know where i can get a sand wich has a high % of crushed shells etc. Would this sand be great for my african's? I know it will look great but i just hope its good for the fish. Thanks again Rob. benno Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 I use shell grit from the fodder store or animal feed store as you Sydney siders have often asked me what a fodder store is. benno Posted April 12, 2004 Share Posted April 12, 2004 Its very cheap i payed $5 for 40 kilos of the stuff just make sure you wash all of the beach sand out of it otherwise it looks crap.
