Noddy65 Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 Hi all Has anyone used those metal wall brackets/shelf brackets from Bunnings to hold tanks? They brackets are ptretty heavy duty and can be bolted to the wall in three places. The wall frame work is eucalypt (not pine) Do you think theyll hold a 2 x 1 x 1 tank? Aquaholic Posted October 20, 2010 Share Posted October 20, 2010 It depends how well they are fastened to the studs. I have them on brick and they are holding hundreds of kg.
