Chris.K Posted October 6, 2010 Share Posted October 6, 2010 have a sick cichlid and need some help. this guy is a fully grown L.Mbamab Bay. he is the tank boss and does not get harrassed at all nor does he get into any particularly nasty fights. he is the dominant breeding male and hooked up with his fave female a week ago who is now holding for the upteeth time. symptoms: sitting on bottom of tank no energy barely swimming visible signs: nil no bloating no fin damage no marks on body not eating checked water, all normal. 15% water change about a week ago. ph is 8.5. water is crystal clear. no other sick fish. fed good quality food every 2-3 days. have since removed him and put him in an isolation tank. now what ? any ideas what the issue is ?
