dogboy
ive used it on cement backdrops with no probs, as said rinse well, if it says fish safe on the container should be ok.
fronty_man
thanks for the replies i have alreay sealed most of it with silicone but its a 1200ltr tank so i got a few pressure leaks and i was hoping i would be able to put some concrete around the bottom and use the paint to paint over the concrete so no water can escape any longer... what does everyone think about this has neone ever used concrete in tank before i was wondering if it leaked ne chemicals once it is set??? dogboy
cement/ concrete will leach for some time after it cures. 2 ways to resolve this A;. fill the tank test pH and let sit for a few days, retest pH drain and refill, keep doing this untill it stops pushing pH up. i tries this with the last cement back drop i did and after 2 months i moved to plan B B; seal with pond sealer silicone is possible the best bet for sealing the backdrop, if you do use cement then you can add oxides to colour it to match the backdrop
