tropifish Posted January 19, 2010 Share Posted January 19, 2010 Hi guys, My Jewel Vision light unit has been playing up and it's now not functioning anymore. There's nothing wrong with the 2 tubes, I think there's something wrong with the electrical wire within as sometimes it's on, sometimes it's off. Tried local Light Up store, the electrician had a look at it, he couldn't open the unit so decided not to fix unless i say yes for him to break it apart. Called up Stgeorge Aquarium today and the lady said she's not sure if they can fix it but happy to have a look at it. Anyone know where for sure they do know how to have this fixed? E4G13M4N Posted January 20, 2010 Share Posted January 20, 2010 How old is the tank, is it still under warrenty, Jewels dont have starters they are electronic balasts as far as i am aware. Lucky I received an email from Jewel today, said they will replace the whole unit (without light tubes) free of charge. Thanks guys !!!
