Cats at work

Hi,

We have a pair of catfish in the tank at work. We believe they are featherfins but are not 100% sure. We think there is a male and a female. The male is approximatly 13cms and the female roughly 10cms.

They are approximatly 4 years old and think that she is carrying eggs.

We really know nothing about catfish and would welcome opinions.

Thanks

P.S here are the pics.

Thanks for that. I thought of bloat but dismissed it after doing some reading of the related threads such as this one:

http://www.aceforums.com.au/index.php?show...39&hl=bloat

The cat here is eating normally and is showing normal signs of spawning. Having said that I would say normal for a cichlid as this is where my experence is. I have no experence with catfish spawning. They are chasing each other, circling each other and moving around the tank much more than normal.

Anyone have similar experences?

Thanks

Paul.
