Maskedman
Is it safe to use silk & plastic plants in my aquariums with bristlenoses & plecs? I know not to put anything varnished in with them as they will eat the varnish right off, but will they do the same to fake plants?
Leone
I have silk plants in my community tank - silver dollars destroy real ones.. I have a couple of BN plecs in my tank, they graze on the algae that grows on the leaves.. no problems at all cheers Leone
Maskedman
Thanks. I don't really care if the plants are destroyed, I just don't want a crook fish. Bristlenose I used to have used to eat algae off a fake log happily until I found him dead. Turned out he had a belly full of varnish off the fake log.
