Noddy65
Hi Just wondering if anyone out there knows how to start there own micro worm colony. I have read that you can use yeast and cereal not sure how to do it though. Plus has anyone used them to feed fry or any of there cichlids Easy... Mix one cup of instant porridge with some hot water (out of the tap). Use enough to soften the porridge. You dont want it to be as wet as normal porridge but not too dry either. Mix, mix, mix with a fork until the porridge is nice and soft. Scoop into a one litre ice cream container, drill/melt some holes in the lid. Scoop/ spoon the starter culture onto the surface (DO NOT MIX IT THROUGH)....and the porridge will be teeming with the worms in around a week. Depending on temperature of course I feed it to all my very small fry Mike
