romak50
Hi all, I want to swap my coarse coral grit substrate for fine coral sand as im swapping a tank full of malawis with tangs, and i want to still keep a few bristlenose in the tank. My question is this - is sand as a substrate ok for bristlenose? I would have thought not but my thoughts arent based on any expertise. Anyone know for certain? Thanks in advance, Romak50
Mattnshez
Hi romak I run coral sand and sydney sand in all my tanks in the fishroom and i keep brisslies/ peps in all tanks purely as cleaners, i quite often see bn's having a nibble on some sand or whats in it more likely but it have never seemed to have any effect on them anyway hth matt
