My previous best spawn was 33, but I was pleasantly suprised to count 37 in the last spawn. They have had anywhere from 13 to 37 fry. Has anyone else had such large spawns as I thought they were only supposed to have quite small spawns. If you read this boots is your largest spawn 30 ? The variation in the spawn sizes is what gets me too, when you consider my peppermints are always around the 110 - 120 per spawn (percentage wise this is not a big difference) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

The demand is there - no doubt - it's just the prices that turns some people off. Then again, not all L numbers are breedable in an aquarium or will be bred in mass like the L201s.
