gianniz Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 well i noticed that some of the glass shrimps have this little mushroom (cotton) fungus looking thing on its head! now i am a total newbie so i bought bunch of glass shrimps to startup my cherry shrimp tank. currently they are all mixed together in a small 1.5foot tank and they have been their for about a month. non of the cherrys have this thing and i was wondering if this is some sort of parasite like ich but for shrimps. if so should i catch it and kill it (or feed the body without the head to my fish?) or leave it as it doesn't seem to bother the shrimp at all as its carrying eggs etc any info will be greatly appreciated.
