rols Posted August 18, 2008 Share Posted August 18, 2008 Hey Guys, Ok want to know if anyone out there can give advice or confirm what my thoughts are on the following. I have female ( pretty sure female)..oscar that was seperated with a male in a tank on their own for breeding purposes.I have quite a few tanks with big cichlids and have bred a few.....the female and male were doing all the right moves and I was expecting a spawn........female put on heaps of weight...and heaps of weight...and heaps of weight.....she looks HUGE!....She does not have bloat.....she is lying on her side ( not sooking like oscars often do) looking in absolute discomfort and unless I do something she will cark.....been this way maybe over a week.....I am not a novice so water temp and PH and all the basics are not an issue...could she be egg bound( its what I am thinking)....if so is there anything that can be done about it????
