foai
so these tricotis... does anyone in sydney stock them or breed them?? or does anyone have any they want to sell. if so how much do these guys go for ? Dan To my knowledge no-one is breeding them but I am sure Aline is trying her hardest. I have never seen them in an aquarium - most probably because they are too expensive for an individual cichlid. They really are a specialist fish. The ones I had were imported from Africa a few years ago and I sold them to Aline last year when I downsized. Only 20 were imported in that batch and were sold to 3 purchasers. Otherwise I have only seen them offered for sale once a few years back by a guy in Melbourne. You could import them at cost price for around $180-200 per fish I suppose. One day when i get back into fish I will buy a dedicated tank and try to breed them. People have said they have had luck breeding but raising fry has been a big problem which keeps prices very high. Foai
