Pik0
Hey guys, Im thinking about getting another tank (stupid addiction ). Problem is the only place my parents will allow me to put it is in a room where 2 sides and the top are made of glass, hence it would get alot of natural light. My question is, is it ok to have a tank in a room like that? Im assuming that there would be some algee problems with all the light. Is there anyway to combat this? Or should I just give it up and look for another spot for the tank? Cheers

electricyellowz
You could always cover the tank in the daytime or get alot of bristlenose!
batche81
Make sure you use a uv sterilizer. I had a tank in a room similar to that and i was fine for a while untill it got a algee bloom, only way to solve the problem was the uv sterilizer. Also have some ice bricks on stand by for hot days.
