Cathyl
Gday all, purchased a pair of Texas a week or so ago and they have bred already. Just wondering what best food is to give the newly free swimming fry? I havent bred Americans for over 20 years(convicts) and I seem to remember feeding them powder or liquid fry. Is this still the norm, or is there something better? I think they are too small at first for newly hatched brine shrimp arent they? Thanks. Kevin. If you have freshly hatched brine shrimp, they'll be perfect. I find even frozen baby brine works well for first few days, then finely crushed flake. congrats on the pair and babies. cheers
Symphy
Hi Cathyl I would say what you have mentioned(powder, liq) would be perfect. I love using Rotifers for fry they seem to take that on board well. Symphy
