kilroy
gday mate, unless you have a minimum tank size of 4 foot I wouldn't even consider the moliro's. They need space to get away from peer aggression, and 3 foot isn't enough. The dominant males will usually claim a good foot and a half to two foot of territory and with a 3 footer, there would be constant fighting over turf. Also 6 isn't enough. 8-12 should be the minimum to spread out aggression. I don't want to discourage you from tropheus as they are my favourite fish, but you should wait until you get a 4-6 foot tank going and then you can get a decent colony going (on their own). hth shane
huzzy
Agree completly with Kilroy, although i would reccomend a 4x2x2 or Std 6footer as the minimums for Tropheus. The calvus will hate the Tropheus also. They are too active and busy for them.
