limegirl
Great stuff! They are a lovely fish but have been selling well over their worth for the last two years. Prior to that they were a lot more affordable - fashion is a funny thing! Perhaps this will encourage people to have a more concerted effort at breeding them - ie: keeping them in species tanks, etc. Often once a fish is listed as not being able to be tank bred, people don't even try, and banish them to display or community tanks, which, in its self, reduces the likelyhood of successful spawnings. MikeWs Fish
Yes very true. Fish that are easily bred straight out bore me, so I've got 9 of these in a planted tank. If they breed then great if they don't, then I'll just enjoy looking at their pretty colours and peaceful behaviour. Mike.
Davo
I would love a dozen but at $45 each they are a bit too expensive.
