searlesy Posted November 30, 2003 Share Posted November 30, 2003 I wouldnt be buying Rio personally, they seem to clap out and become noisy in the impellor housing very quickly. I have had 3 via aquas of varying sizes running on my saltwater tank, 24/7 for a year so far and they have always restarted fine after a power outage, and no noise at all.
