jyan Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 i am a newb to fish aqurium i just recently got 3 small archer fish and 4 mono from a fd now they are in a blucket outside the backyard enjoying them self shooting at insects.i am going to move them into the house and set them up in a 60L tank i need some advice on how to build a healthy enviroment for them Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

laurie Posted March 26, 2007 Share Posted March 26, 2007 i wouldn't keep them in the bucket too long set up that tank as soon as you can. Ive always kept mine in a tall tank filled to about two thirds with driftwood sticking out the top of the water, this enables the addatives of bugs and things you should have a talk to the guys at your local f/s to get the right treatments for your water eg: ager, chlorine neutraliser and maybe prime if you are adding them quickly. these guys will love as much space as you can give them. good luck Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
