Ash
Hey peoples, I've been searching for info on this on google & only find F/S blerbs Has anyone here ran a king pump (mine is a King-3) inline rather than submerged? It looks like it can but I don't want to overheat the thing & have it fail on me. Just looking to get the extra heat out of the system & make more room in the sump if possible. Cheers Ash
Ash
Bueller? I've found the odd reference to it being an "inline" pump but I'd feel better hearing it from someone who's done it rather than trusting an ebay ad
Phenomena
Hi Ash, I've run PM4200 & King 4 inline (Resun King 4 is a copy of PM4200). Not exactly with a sump. I made a home made cannisters (2x 30lt barrels), hooked up to the PM4200. Had it run for a few weeks but decided to scrap the cannisters. I tried the King 4 as it has more punch than the PM4200. The problem I had was that the impeller cover wasn't tightly fit. The o-ring was a little too thin. Therefore, it leaked. I dunno if that's the case with all Kings or just mine. HTH...
