hoges
I've recently set up another American tank. Its a custom 2 ft tank, its measurements in cms are L:60cms H: 53cms W:33cms. When I set it up it only had little fish in it, so I found an over hang filter to be sufficient. Now I have transferred so bigger american's into it, the filtration isn't standing up, so I've added two small internal sponge filters that I had lying around to try and help. Basically I just want one filter and be done with it. What are you suggestions on what I should get. I was looking at Age of Aquariums web site, ideally I would like a canister filter but I just don't think I can afford one. Do you think one of the larger internal filters would cope? Mbuna
I would go with a larger over hang filter, that way you have more room in the tank.
OziOscar
An AC500 HOB or a mid sized cannister (say 600 - 700 lph filtration) should do the trick nicely. Cheers - OziOscar.
