mcloughlin2
Guys, Have a unexpected spawn of these guys. Saw the eggs on Monday night i think ... They have hatch, and appear to be hiding around the rock they were layed on. I just need to know when to start feeding? Have them in a 55G tank with just 1 EY and several male BN, so feeding is difficult but should i throw some rotifers in now? They don't seem to have egg sack left, but are not swimming around yet. Brettmck
Congrats ! Hi, I have multiple spawns at the moment and to be honest i'm not feeding for the fry specific. The parents are very good and will take food to them and break it up. They do such a good job at it that the fry look like little balloons and i am feeding very lightly at the moment. Expect a second spawn at about 3-4 weeks where the fry you have now will guard the new ones. The cycle has started ! Brett
