novafishy
1) would it be a good idea to put brine shrimp eggs in the fridge when not in use? 2) will putting it in the fridge and away from the light, make the eggs last longer? 3) is it essential to have the eggs in an air tight bag/container when not in use? thanks! Colfish
hi guys no need to freeze em, just absolutley airtight and kept in the vege crisper will suffice. hope they still hatch for you!!! regards colfish
Alan
When I open a can of shrimp eggs I plit them up into a few airtight jars and into the frig. It is not so much the temperature as the dry atmosphere. They spoil quite quickly in the humidity here. Then I only open a jar and take a week's worth at a time, depending on what is breeding and the requirements at the time. Alan
