novafishy
i had a pail with water outdoors for a few wks. today found there are some mozzie larvae in it. will it be safe for me to feed it to my angel babies (4cm)? do mozzie larvae have nutritional value? do i need to put all the collected larvae in clean water before feeding to fish? so that diseases may not enter the tank. thanks
Aquaman
I can't see a problem. Wash them under running water then just just throw them in... I couldn't advise on the disease issue (however I'm doubtful there would be a problem) Cheers Richard
novafishy
oh thanks richard! have they got a high nutritional value as live foods?
Aquaman
I would say any live food would have a high nutritional value...live foods are fantastic for any fish expecially fry. Microworms are also good, I'd offer you a culture but you're in NSW
