Ant
Can you use an asthma nebuliser as a temp air pump????? and do they pump much air? Anthony
Brett4Perth
Very temporary, They are not designed to run continuosly, so I suspect they would overheat fairly quickly. Cheers Brett
Ant
was thinking the same, but do they pump a high volume or no more than usual small airpump?? (dont have one here to test)
Matthew
G'day Anthony Nebulisers are designed to work at eight liters per minute (8 L.P.M.). You could use it in an emergency but I would just get a spare air pump as these are a lot cheaper than nebulisers.
Ant
No problem i bought another Airpump yesterday, i needed a pump quickly so i could airate water for a waterchange (tap water conditions still bad here) as i had a heap of hongi fry die due to ammonia spike and needed to do it fast so as no more died. Otherwise i wouldn't have asked such a silly question Anthony
