enigma
this was taken last week. 2 days ago i wanted to shoot more barbs. while keeping my eye on them i saw this. i didn't want to miss it. got it but camera's setting wasn't quite right then he did it again. ok changed the target. now i was following him and got this and again hang on... not yet and this and finally full shot had to stop there otherwise i felt asleep in front of a fish tank i missed a few moments because he wasn't in the flash coverage area. haven't seen a fish yawned so many times in a very short period of time. AdamR
Burgoid, he is African. He is a Ctenopoma acutirostre or what is often called a leopard bush fish or leaf fish. Great fish, nasty habit of eating anything that will fit in. They are a anabantoid which means they can breath air as well as water. Very interesting fish if you have a read. When their ponds dry up they get out and climb over land to the next one. Adam

Bruce
I think the cool thing is that half his tail is transparent so he still looks leafy but he has a full size tail aswell. Bruce
